Introduction:
We are currently recruiting a temporary Assistant Financial Accountant on a 3 months temporary contractual basis for a recognised NFP organisation. They are a leading name in the industry and show significant growth by offering world class services to their customers. You will report to the Financial Controller.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute significantly to month-end management reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and trend analysis, etc
  • Partner effectively with divisional finance and supply chain teams, fostering a data-driven culture and ensuring a cohesive understanding of the financial implications of key decisions.
  • Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis and generate reports for management, highlighting key financial indicators and trends.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial controls and procedures are followed.
  • Stay up-to-date with accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance and educate operational stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Financial Accountant for over 2-3 years
  • Proficiency in using TechOne (Desirable) and strong financial principles
  • Exceptional networking abilities, with a proven capacity to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Studying towards CA/ CPA
